Dataset for: Poly(ε-caprolactone) nanoparticles for irinotecan delivery synthesized via enzymatic ring-opening polymerization in organic solvents, ionic liquids, and bulk conditions

This dataset contains experimental data generated within the project “Preparation of New Hydrogel Nanosystems for Targeted Therapy of Colorectal Cancer”, funded by the National Science Centre, Poland (Grant No. 2022/47/D/NZ7/01403). The dataset includes raw differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) data for poly(ε-caprolactone) samples and images of HCT-116 colorectal cancer cells and fibroblasts incubated with polymeric nanosystems under different conditions (24–72 h; pH 7.4 and pH 6.5). The data were used for the physicochemical and biological characterization of polymeric drug delivery systems and support the associated research article. The dataset is available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
