Terrestrial laser scanning of forest plot HV011, Hidden Vale, Queensland, Australia (May 2026)
收藏资源简介:
Terrestrial laser scanning of forest plot HV011, Hidden Vale, Queensland, Australia (May 2026) This dataset contains terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) single scans of forest plot HV011 at Hidden Vale, south-east Queensland, Australia (approx. 27.711° S, 152.466° E), acquired on 26 May 2026 with a RIEGL VZ-600i from 140 scan positions. Scanner settings All scans used identical settings: RIEGL VZ-600i, 2200 kHz pulse repetition rate, 0.034 degree angular resolution in azimuth and zenith (approx. 5.9 mm point spacing at 10 m), 360 degree x 25-130 degree zenith field of view, 25.2 s per scan, upright mounting. Processing Scans were registered in RIEGL RiSCAN PRO using multi-station adjustment and georeferenced using the scanner's GNSS, post-processed against the Rosevale (ROSV) continuously operating reference station. The neighbouring plot HV010 uses the same base-station coordinates, so both plots share one geodetic frame. Contents - Single scans: one LAZ file (LAS 1.4) per scan position, in the scanner's own coordinate system (SOCS), with all attributes retained (intensity, GPS time, amplitude, reflectance, pulse-shape deviation). Packaged in three zip archives. Points were filtered at export to reflectance -25 to +5 dB, pulse-shape deviation <= 12 and range 2–75 m. The LAS Intensity field is a linear rescaling of RIEGL calibrated reflectance (the filtered -25 dB to +5 dB window mapped to 0–65535; Intensity = (Reflectance + 25) / 30 x 65535), not raw amplitude; reflectance (dB), amplitude (dB) and pulse-shape deviation are also provided as LAS extra bytes.- Transformation matrices: 4x4 matrices for each scan from SOCS to the project coordinate system (PRCS) and from SOCS to geocentric ECEF (EPSG:4978), plus the project PRCS to ECEF matrix.- Metadata: RiSCAN PRO registration report(s) and scan position coordinates.- README describing coordinate systems, file formats and how to apply the transformations, and MD5 checksums of every file inside the archives. Related data Merged, clipped and 2 cm subsampled/denoised plot point clouds derived from these scans are available on 3DTrees (https://3dtrees.earth). Plot HV010 is published as a separate record.
