Unveiling the genetic structure of New Caledonian dugongs using a multi-scale genetic approach: conservation challenges for an isolated population

These data files were used in Verger et al. (2025) to explore the population structure of dugongs (Dugong dugon) in New Caledonia. It includes individual SNP genotypes for 48 dugongs sampled in New Caledonia (generated from ddRADseq libraries), individual microsatellite genotypes for 49 dugongs from New Caledonia and metadata for each individual included in both Garrigue et al. (2022) and Verger et al. (2025).
