Human Zebra Fish Comparison project

The zebrafish (Danio rerio) is a vertebrate model organism that is widely used to provide insights into the biological phenomena observed in humans. In this study, we profile the transcriptome of the zebrafish oocyte for the first time using single-cell RNA-sequencing. This data set provides a resource for the zebrafish oocyte transcriptome that may be used for comparative analysis involving the oocyte transcriptome of other organisms as well as analysis involving the transcriptome of other cell types of the zebrafish.
