Diversification of spiny-throated reed frogs (Anura: Hyperoliidae) with the description of a new, range-restricted species from the Ukaguru Mountains, Tanzania

A new species of spiny-throated reed frog (genus Hyperolius, spiny-throated sub-group) was discovered in the Ukaguru Mountains of Tanzania. This species is morphologically quite distinct, has a distinct coloration, and is distinct genetically and genomically. The name of this lineage is Hyperolius ukaguruensis.
