This dataset contains metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) reconstructed from four environmental metagenomes collected from the Southern California Bight. A co-assembly was generated using MEGAHIT, and genome binning was performed using a combination of MetaBAT2, CONCOCT, and SemiBin2, followed by refinement and dereplication with MetaWRAP and dRep, respectively.All MAGs were annotated using Prokka and taxonomically classified with GTDB-Tk. Two filtering strategies were applied to select high- and medium-quality MAGs:<b>Initial filter</b>: Completeness ≥50%, contamination ≤10%, resulting in <b>174 MAGs</b>.<b>Stricter filter</b>: Completeness ≥70%, contamination ≤5%, and N50 ≥10,000 bp, resulting in <b>74 high-quality MAGs</b>.This archive includes the annotated Prokka output directories for all 174 MAGs, each labeled with the prefix <code>SPOT_MAG_XXX</code> for clarity and consistency.These annotated MAGs can be used for downstream functional or phylogenetic analyses in marine microbiome research.
