The NHGRI Sample Repository for Human Genetic Research is a biobank that provides DNA samples, cell lines, and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from populations of the International HapMap Consortium, 1000 Genomes Project Consortium, and Human Pangenome Reference Consortium. These biological samples have obtained informed consent for the widespread release of genetic and genomic data, and can be used for diverse genetic variation studies such as large-scale genotyping, sequencing, gene expression analysis, and epiproteomics. The samples do not contain identifiable personal or clinical information, making them a high-quality, renewable resource for investigating genetic variation in human populations.
