资源简介:
We propose to observe a small group of four Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxiesoptically classified as starbursts, which according to our analysis based onSpitzer 58 micron spectra hide obscured active nuclei. These AGNs probablyaccount for virgul50% of the total source luminosity, which puts them among the fewknown QSO2s al low redshift (z<0.25). The XMMNewton observations will test ourprediction, possibly providing a direct evidence of these hidden nuclei. Whileit is well assessed that most of the luminosity of local ULIRGs is due tostarbursts, our observations would further increase the fraction of theseobjects known to host an AGN. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
