Data for "Dendritic spine density scales with microtubule number in rat hippocampal dendrites"

3DEM dataset acquired from the rat hippocampal area CA1 (<i>stratum radiatum</i>), used for the paper entitled "Dendritic spine density scales with microtubule number in rat hippocampal dendrites". This dataset consists of the following 2 parts: (1) serial section EM image series and trace files for each image series for analysis using Reconstruct software; and (2) spreadsheets and figures summarizing quantitative data extracted from image analysis.
