资源简介:
This dataset contains all Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) data and inputs required to calculate cosmogenic Be-10 surface exposure ages presented in the publication Rood et al., 2020, Earthquake Hazard Uncertainties Improved Using Precariously Balanced Rocks, AGU Advances, https://doi.org/10.1029/2020AV000182. The samples were collected from Franciscan Complex chert paleo-sea stacks located on uplifted marine terraces at the Double Rock site in coastal Central California. Data was used to calculate surface exposure ages for outcrop surfaces surrounding seven precariously balanced rocks in order to date the timing of meter scale block removal events that occurred to leave the precariously balanced rocks preserved in their current geometries. For additional information and methods, please see original publication.
