The Association of Smartphone Addiction with Depression and Anxiety among the Public Housing Community in Cheras, Malaysia

This cross-sectional study was carried out among residents of a public housing community in Cheras, Malaysia. The sample size was calculated using OpenEpi, Version 3, open-source calculator—SSCohort. A self-administered online questionnaire via Google® Forms and face to face interviews were done by year three medical students in 2023 over a weekend. (August 5th – 6th 2023). Ethical clearance was provided and written informed consent was given by all participants in this study.
