Molecular Sublimation Enabling 2D-3D Transformation of Orientational FAPbI3 Perovskites

This work introduces a novel 2D perovskite, serving as a highly anisotropic template for an all-solid phase transformation from 2D to 3D. This method, starting from a stable 2D intermediate and bypassing the challenges of solvent involvement, enables the synthesis of large area films of α-FAPbI3 perovskite with long-range lattice order.
