Genome Sequencing of Lysobacter sp. nov.

This project aims to sequence and analyze the complete genome of a novel bacterial species belonging to the genus Lysobacter, isolated from soil in Japan. The primary objective is to identify its unique genomic features and propose it as a novel species based on its phylogenetic positioning and comparative genomics. Furthermore exploring its taxonomic relationship with other Lysobacter species using The 16S rRNA gene and whole-genome data, contribute to a deeper understanding of its ecological role and potential biotechnological applications.
