This supplementary material provides detailed descriptions of paleomagnetism results, and geochronological method and result for the younger Taohuayu dyke (W267, ca. 1.23 Ga). It includes supplementary tables with paleomagnetic component fits for all samples, summaries of characteristic remanent magnetization (ChRM) results, hysteresis loop parameters for the 1.7–1.68 Ga dykes, and baddeleyite secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) Pb–Pb dating data for the 1.23 Ga dyke. Table S5 and Table S6 present the paleopole data and reconstruction parameters for paleogeographic reconstructions. Figures include field photographs, geochemical diagrams, baddeleyite SIMS dating diagram, and additional demagnetization and rock magnetism analyses. All data interpretations explanations are discussed in the main text.
