资源简介:

This dataset contains the experimental data used in the paper entitled “Characterization of early‑age elastic–plastic properties of 3D printed materials using indentation testing.” The data was collected across three concrete printing sessions, during which a printable mortar was sampled directly from the printing system and subsequently characterized. The dataset includes both in‑line process measurements and results from the off‑line mechanical tests used to determine the early‑age elastic-plastic properties of the material. Across all three printing sessions, flat punch indentation tests were conducted on hemispherical samples to derive the elastic modulus, cohesion, and internal friction angle of the printable material. Besides, during two sessions, unconfined compression tests were conducted on cylindrical specimens to validate the developed indentation test. As a quality‑control measure, ultrasonic wave transmission tests were carried out during all printing sessions. A detailed description of the data per session is provided below. Session 1: Session one contains the flat punch indentation tests that were performed to study the sample size effect. Three different hemispherical sample sizes were examined, with diameters of 98, 123, and 145 mm. These tests were used to determine how boundary effects and plastic slip at the container wall influence the indentation response. Session 2: Session two contains the flat punch indentation tests used to study the evolution of the material’s elastic modulus, cohesion, and internal friction angle. This session also includes unconfined compression tests (UCTs), whose results provide a direct comparison and validation of the indentation test outcomes. Session 3: Session three contains additional flat punch indentation tests and UCTs conducted using a lower loading rate to assess its influence on the characterized material properties. In this session, temperature measurements were conducted on multiple samples to analyze the effect of hydration heat release on early‑age mechanical behavior. All data is described following the 3DCP.data framework of Eindhoven University of Technology.
