Post coronavirus GDP per capita growth forecast in Sweden 2020-2026

The gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in Sweden decreased by 3.6 percent in 2020 after the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), according to forecasts from December 2021. However, the GDP per capita in Sweden grew by 4.4 percent in 2021, and continued to grow in 2022. In 2023, though, the GDP per capita decreased as the effects of the high inflation rates hit.
