Genome-wide 5hmC landscapes in the striatum of PD mouse model at two stages

DNA hydroxymethylation, that is 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC), is a prevalent epigenetic modification. The role of DNA hydroxymethylation in the development of striatal dysfunction remains unknown in PD. PD mouse model was generated by unilateral intrastriatal 6-OHDA injection. The saline injected contralateral side was used as the control. Genome-wide 5hmC landscapes were profiled and analyzed in the striatum at day 10 and day 30 after the neurotoxin administration.
