NET-Fuels D4.3 Parametric GHG Calculator – Spreadsheet

The Excel-based parametric model was developed within Task 4.3 of the NET-Fuels project to assess the influence of selected feedstock and process parameters on the GHG performance of the NET-Fuels technology. The model builds upon the Life Cycle Inventories developed in Task 4.2 and calculates the EF 3.1 Climate Change indicator for three feedstocks: digestate, pruning residues and wood. The tool allows the user to vary four key parameters identified through sensitivity analysis. Electricity and heat carbon intensities can also be modified independently, enabling assessment of different geographical or future energy-system scenarios. Results are reported per 1 tonne of dry biomass and per 1 kg of produced methane. The spreadsheet is presented as a complementary tool to support transparency, reproducibility, and usability of the Task 4.3 results by stakeholders and policy makers. To use the spreadsheet, macros must be enabled.
