This series comprises a preliminary report produced by consulting engineers into the sewerage of Sale. It was signed on 17 August 1935. The reports discusses such matters as the history of sewerage systems, the selection of a disposal site, topography, the extent of the sewerage district, population projections, the reticulation system, pumping stations, sewerage disposal, water consumption and estimated costs. The report includes plans and drawings in relation to the proposed system.The Sale Sewerage Authority (VA 2026) was constituted under the provisions of the Sewerage Districts Act 1928 and gazetted on 24 June 1936.
