资源简介:
Introduction This database includes the raw data linked with the paper “Behavioural problems in psychotic, clinically high-risk, and non-psychotic adolescent patients”. In this paper, we investigated from a patient perspective the presence of differences in the behavioural problems self-disclosed by psychotic, clinically high-risk, and non psychotic adolescents. Data derived from the administration of the Comprehensive Assessment of At-Risk Mental States (CAARMS) interview and completion of the Youth Self Report self-administered questionnaire by adolescents with psychotic disorders, at-risk mental state or non-psychotic psychiatric disorders. Data were collected at baseline. Dataset does not contain any longitudinal data. Methods Patients were interviewed applying the CAARMS interview and self-reported on their behavioural problems filing in the well-validated Italian version of the Youth Self-Report which quantify  internalizing, externalizing, and total behavioural problems. Results This study suggests that clinically at-risk and psychotic adolescents might present similar elevations in behavioural problems, especially internalizing ones. Additionally, in our sample girls reported greater risk of total and internalizing behavioural problems, only in the clinically high-risk group. These findings, although preliminary and obtained in a small sample of Italian adolescents, contribute to highlight the importance of considering behavioral problems as potential critical factors in the early detection of psychotic transition in pediatric patients.
