This study investigates the effects of siesta deprivation (SD), both independently and in combination with caffeine administration (SD+Cf), on molecular functions in mice. Male ICR mice were randomly divided into three groups: a control group with no interventions, an SD group, and an SD+Cf group. Following a two-week intervention, frontal cortex samples were collected at Zeitgeber time 0 (ZT0) and Zeitgeber time 12 (ZT12) for RNA-seq analysis. This research seeks to elucidate the molecular consequences of siesta disruption and caffeine consumption, providing insights into their impact on brain function.
