Mycorrhizal switching and nitrogen utilization of Eucalyptus of different stand ages

This study investigated Eucalyptus plantations of different ages (2, 7, 12, 17, 22 years) to explore differences in soil fungal, bacterial, and archaeal community structure and function using metagenomic sequencing, elucidating key factors influencing soil microbial communities. The study also determined mycorrhizal colonization rates of Eucalyptus roots, analyzed the variation patterns of dominant mycorrhizal types, and clarified the impact of dual mycorrhizae on nutrient acquisition.
