Results of literature searches for published localization data on the 122_putative mito. protein set.

The first tab shows all proteins from the list of 122_putative mito. proteins for which direct localization exists in the literature (44 proteins), 10 of which were localized to the mitochondrion. The second tab shows all proteins from the list of 122_putative mito. proteins that were localized to a subcellular compartment by high-throughput assays in the literature (47 proteins), none of which were assessed as likely mitochondrial by a previous high-throughput assay. The third tab shows the putative localizations among the 122_putative mito. proteins suggested by sequence similarity, phylogenetic analysis, or computational methods (31 proteins), 14 of which were predicted to be mitochondrial.
