On the 20 April 2025 at 12:30 UTC, a wildfire started in Biebrza National Park, at the border of the Augustow and Monki districts in northeastern Poland. The fire covered approximately 100 ha. Firefighters were facing difficulties due to warm and windy conditions. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping was requested to provide wildfire extent emergency mapping.
