Thermoporometry analysis of porous carbons: experimental DSC and N2 physisorption data for the estimation of the delta layer size

This dataset contains raw and processed differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and nitrogen physisorption data. The dataset was generated to investigate the dependence of the non-freezable water layer thickness (δ) on the textural and chemical properties of porous carbons and to develop predictive models enabling δ estimation without time-consuming experimental determination. The dataset includes DSC melting curves of frozen water confined in porous carbons recorded at different sample-to-water ratios together with N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms measured at 77 K. Raw DSC files exported from a TA Instruments DSC Q20 calorimeter and processed data in Microsoft Excel format are provided.
