Orthodrone - UAV Survey dataset (Deliverable 2.1)

During the field school activities of the BridgET Erasmus+ programme, Orthodrone GmbH acquired a series of experimentaldatasets using various UAS-based techniques. For the purpose of this deliverable, a representative dataset has been selected. This georeferenced dataset is available for download as an example of data acquired using LiDAR or Structure-from-Motion (SfM) techniques. It is well-suited for virtual reality exploration and serves as a valuable resource for geohazard studies in coastal zones. The available data demonstrates the successful application of UAS (Uncrewed Aerial Systems) for high-resolution spatial data acquisition in shallow waters. For LiDAR data a RIEGL miniVUX-1UAV mounted on a DJI M300 RTK was used.For each summer school one dataset is available for scientific and teaching purposes (Red Beach, Greece, St. Tecla, Sicily, Magoodhoo Harbor, Maldives) under a creative commons license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 DEED).
