Our research project focuses on studying the gene expression patterns of Eunicella singularis, which is a crucial species in the Mediterranean. Our goal is to understand how this species responds to two significant climate change stressors: ocean warming and acidification. We aim to uncover the molecular mechanisms that underpin its response to these stressors, which threaten marine ecosystems. Through analyzing the transcriptomic profile, our study provides valuable insights into Eunicella singularis' adaptive strategies. Our findings have significant implications for marine conservation and broaden our understanding of how climate change affects aquatic organisms.
