Mizuna and Mizuna (B. rapa L. subsp. nipposinica) are Japanese traditional vegetables which belong to the same subspecies, but these leaf shapes are quite different. This transcriptome analysis are performed for several developmental stages of these shoot apical meristem or leaves to reveal which genes are contribute to this leaf shape variation.
