Digital Archive from Construction Integrated Recording at Southern Sustainable Placement Area (RSSPA) Fields G, H and F, Hillingdon, Greater London, 2022-2025

This collection comprises the digital records and files created during archaeological construction monitoring and recording at Southern Sustainable Placement Area (RSSPA) Fields G, H and F, including data from the subsequent post-excavation assessment and analysis. Work was carried out by MOLA Headland Infrastructure between August and September 2022 as part of the High Speed Two (HS2) railway infrastructure project. A range of features were identified across the site, including gullies and ditches, along with various post holes and pits. Overall, the dating evidence recovered from these features was very limited. However, a small pottery assemblage allowed a single pit to be securely dated to the Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age.
