The Effect of Probiotics on the Intestinal Microbiota of Hemodialysis Patients

The intestinal dysbiosis contributes to the progression of renal failure andcardiovascular diseases in patients with chronic kidney disease. Probiotics is apromising intervention to modulate the intestinal imbalance. We performed a doubleblind clinical trial to investigate the effects of probiotics on improving intestinaldysbiosis in patients receiving hemodialysis (HD).
