The stars in the massive colliding wind LBV binary eta Car are approaching periastron passage which is associated with strong X-ray brightening and X-ray variability. NICER detected an X-ray brightening event from Eta Car starting on Nov 15 2019 (ATEL 13327) and now AGILE reports a brightening at energies > 100 MeV (ATEL 13329). A connection between the X-ray and gamma-ray variations of the source has not been seen before and needs to be studied with INTEGRAL. [truncated! Please see actual data for full text]
