Access to and use of online content. Experiences with cross-border access to online content.<br>Topics: frequency of internet use; devices used to access the internet; frequency in the last twelve months of using the internet to access or download: audio-visual content, sports, music, e-books or digital books, games; kind of access: free, pay per item, pay online subscription, start for free and then purchase related items (only games); websites used to access or download content over the past twelve months; frequency of finding desired results when searching the internet in the own country for selected types of content; preferred ways of watching films or series in other languages than the own language: audio in English without subtitles, English subtitles, audio in a language other than English or the own language, subtitles in a language other than English or the own language, only audio or subtitles in the own language; experiences accessing online content when being in another EU member state using own paying subscription: never tried to do so and no intention, never tried to do so but interested, worked perfectly, limited or different content, access only to content previously downloaded, service not accessible; attempts to access or download each of the aforementioned types of content through an online service meant for users in another EU member state; experiences with this kind of online service: worked perfectly, limited access only, desired payment method was refused, redirection to version of the site of the own country, service not accessible, some problems but access possible; reasons for using or not using this kind of service; preferred types of content to access by such a service; desire to access online content available in other EU member states; reasons for not being interested; reasons for not using the internet to access or download online content in the last twelve months; importance to be able to use paying subscription when being in other EU member states.
Demography: age; sex; nationality; age at end of education; occupation; professional position; region; type of community; own a mobile phone and fixed (landline) phone; household composition and household size.
Additionally coded was: respondent ID; type of phone line; nation group; weighting factor.
