Sequencing of the anaerobic thermophilic microbial community that drive siderite cycle in bioreactor

Enriched anaerobic thermophilic microbial community obtained from the terrestrial hydrothermal spring was found to be able to perform the oxidation of hydrothermal siderite with CO2 as the only carbon source in batch conditions. With the aim to reproduce natural conditions the culture was scaled up in a bioreactor with low mixture regime and in CO2 /O2 gas phase. Data in this project represent different stages of development of the microbial community.
