Transposon sequencing of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium 14028S

The objective of this study was to find genetic factors required by Salmonella to overcome the host stress encountered by the bug during infection cycle. Still, there is a significant portion of Salmonella genes whose function are unknown. This study able to provide the mechanistic basis of Salmonella genes required to cause the systemic and enteric infection.
