Data for the 2025 Mw 6.8 and Mw 6.4 Sanriku-Oki, Japan, Earthquakes: Relocated Hypocenters, Rupture Models, and Strainmeter Data

Dataset S1 contains the relocated hypocenter catalog used in this study. The header line describes all variables. “RepeaterSeqID” is set to 0 for earthquakes that were not classified as repeaters. Dataset S2 contains the estimated slip distribution for the Mw 6.8 event. The header line describes all variables. Dataset S3 contains the estimated slip distribution for the Mw 6.4 event. The header line describes all variables. Dataset S4 contains the borehole strainmeter time series used in this study. The two columns are: (1) days from the mainshock and (2) strain (microstrain).
