Phase Separation Kinetics in Polar Active Matter - Configurations
收藏资源简介:
In the present repository, we provide sample output from two-dimensional numerical simulations that illustrate the phase-separation kinetics of the polar active matter model studied in the manuscript Phase Separation Kinetics in Polar Active Matter by M. Semeraro, L. F. Cugliandolo, G. Gonnella, M. Lauricella and A. Tiribocchi. The simulations were performed using a finite-difference scheme with periodic boundary conditions on a square lattice of linear size N=512. The lattice spacing and time step were fixed to Δx = 1 and Δt = 10^-2, respectively. Configurations were extracted every 10^5 iterations (100 time units). The model parameters are: φ_0 = 2 M = 1 α_φ = 0.1 k_φ = 0.5 Γ = 1 α_p = 0.1 k_p = 0.04 We provide two datastes, respectively referring to the two advection strengths λ=0 and λ=10^-2. The output files are provided in a format that can be directly opened and analyzed using the software ParaView.
