Mapping-by-sequencing data for mutant allele sy463 (Oscheius tipulae)

The Oscheius tipulae strain PS2458 carries the recessive mutation sy463 in the CEW1 background (reference genome). sy463 is an allele of the locus cov-3, published in Louvet-Vallee S. et al., 2003 (PMID:12586702)In order to map and identify this mutation, it was crossed with the mapping strain JU170. Genomic DNA was extracted and pooled from 51 independent mutant F2 lines and sent for sequencing on a Illumina Hiseq 2000 plateform to generate 100-bp paired-end reads.
