Sequence Alignment and Phylogenetic Analysis of Magoderna subresinosum in Vietnam

Magoderna subresinosum is a wood-inhabiting fungus belonging to the family Ganodermataceae, widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions. This species is known to produce a variety of bioactive metabolites, which have been reported to exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antitumor activities. In Vietnam, M. subresinosum occurs abundantly in natural and plantation forests and has long been utilized as a traditional medicinal resource. Despite its biological potential and economic value, studies on its artificial cultivation, growth characteristics, and secondary metabolite production remain scarce. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the mycelial growth of M. subresinosum under different culture media and environmental conditions to provide fundamental insights for optimizing artificial cultivation and supporting future biotechnological applications.
