Teaching factory and Computational Thinking in Asian Vocational Education : A Bibliometric Analysis of Scopus Database 2015 - 2025

Data collection was conducted systematically from the Scopus database, which was selected for its comprehensive coverage and structure. The process began with the search query: "teaching factory" OR "learning factory" OR "teaching factories" OR "learning factories" OR "computational thinking" OR "vocational education" OR "TVET" OR "VET", yielding a total of 43,626 documents. The data were subsequently filtered in a stepwise manner. First, the timeframe was restricted from 2015 to 2025 to ensure relevance to recent developments. Documents with undefined authors were then excluded, and only journal articles written in English and having a final publication status were retained. To ensure full access, only open-access documents were selected. Finally, the data were narrowed based on Asian geographic affiliation, resulting in a final corpus of 1,695 documents ready for analysis.
