资源简介:
Genetic variants and acquired conditions have been increasingly involved as susceptibility determinant of viral infectious diseases. Life-threatening COVID-19 in unvaccinated subjects has been associated with inborn errors of TLR3- and TLR7-dependent type I or autoantibodies against type I IFN. The current study aimed to investigate possible genetic and acquired determinants of severity in a patient who experienced two distinct life-threatening infections due to single strand-RNA viruses (West Nile Virus and SARS-COV-2), without other clear predisposing factors.Whole exome sequencing and immunological investigations were carried out.
