To investigate plant response to elicitation, we assessed transcriptional reprogramming (RNA-Seq) after repeated treatments with an elicitor on tomato plants. As elicitor, we used COS-OGA, a compound that combines plant non self-molecules, i.e. chitosan-derived chitooligosaccharides (COS), and plant self-compounds, i.e. pectin-derived oligogalacturonides (OGA).
