Bacterial communities in Tetranychoidea mites

Exploration of the bacterial diversity in the agriculturally important mite Brevipalpus yothersi. This mite trasmitt viruses to citrus, coffee and other plants. Exploration of the bacterial communities of this mite is an important step towards the understanding of interactions in its microbiome, as well as the future implementation of pest management. For comparison purposes, bacterial communities in other Tetranychoidea are included (Raoiella Indica, Tetranychus evansi, and Oligonychus sp.)
