This dataset is published by the Geophysical Research Letters (https://doi.org/10.1029/2024GL112853).

**id**: Identification number

**latitude**: Y coordinate of observation reported in decimal degrees rounded to two decimal places (please note: analysis performed using high-resolution geolocation, precision reduced for public dataset)

**longitude**: X coordinate of observation reported in decimal degrees rounded to two decimal places (please note: analysis performed using high-resolution geolocation, precision reduced for public dataset)

**datetime_utc**: date and time of observation in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)

**ecoregions**: US EPA Level III ecoregion in which the observation was reported

**elevation.m**: USGS 10 m digital elevation model from the U.S. Geological Survey in which the observation was report...
