The Arabidopsis enhanced vitamin e 1 (eve1) line is an EMS-induced mutant that accumulates twice more vitamin E (tocopherols) in seeds (New phytologist 2018, 217:245-260). To identify the mutation causing the enhanced vitamin e 1 phenotype, we sequenced the DNAs prepared from 1) 75 Col-0 parental individuals and 2) 49 BC1F2 individuals exhibiting the enhanced vitamin e 1 phenotype.
