Metabarcoding gut contents of Fundulus diaphanus subspecies

These sequences result from metabarcoding the gut contents of Fundulus diaphanus diaphanus and Fundulus diaphanus menona. The digestive tract was dissected from each individual, processed using a 2-step PCR protocol to target the COI region with ANML primers modified to include i5 and i7 index adaptor sequences, and sequenced at the Roy J. Carver Sequencing Center at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Sequencing was done on an Illumina Novaseq 6000, SP flowcell with 1 lane, paired-reads, a read length of 150, and on an SP flowcell.
