The multiple roles of PehC during Ralstonia solanacerum infection

Here, we identified PehC, a Ralstonia protein belonging to the glycoside hydrolase family 28 (GH28), triggers typical immune responses in tomato and related Solanaceae plants as a novel microbe-associated molecular pattern (MAMP). Two-weeks old tomato seedling roots treated with or without 10 μg/ml GST-PehC for 1 h and 6 h with four biological replicates were harvested.
