Percentage of women or men (all or currently married) who know any modern method of contraception or any method of contraception. Modern methods of contraception include female and male sterilization, contraceptive pills, intra-uterine device (IUD), injectables, implants, male and female condoms, diaphragm, contraceptive foam and contraceptive jelly female condom, lactational amenorrhea method (LAM), Standard days method (SDM), and emergency contraception. Traditional methods includes periodic abstinence (rhythm, calendar method) and withdrawal.
