THE DISTINCTIVE FEATURES OF THE LITERATURE OF THE INDEPENDENCE PERIOD

This study comprehensively analyzes the main directions, thematic renewals, and artistic features of Uzbek literature during the period of independence (1991-present), with a particular focus on poetry. It explores the impact of independence on the literary process, the creative freedom gained from liberation from Soviet-era restrictions, the resurgence of national identity, the restoration of historical memory, and new ideological-aesthetic explorations. The paper critically evaluates the intrinsic link between literature and socio-political transformations, examining new ideological trends, genre diversity, and stylistic shifts in language. Through the analysis of theoretical sources and existing research, the study offers academic conclusions regarding the unique characteristics and future developmental tendencies of the era's literature.
