Protected Areas and Critical Biodiversity Areas in the Vhembe District, Limpopo, South Africa.

This data includes Key Biodiversity Areas and Critical Biodiversity Areas in the Vhembe District, Limpopo, South Africa. These layers were added to GIS software, where they were cleaned and converted into the EGSG:4148-Hartebeesthoek94 reference coordinate system. We used various geoprocessing tools to extract the data. This methodology allowed us to analyze the relationship between protected areas and these crucial sites. We were able to determine gaps in the estate's network.The data is grouped into files. There is a file to show the outline of the region, the protected areas in the region, and the Critical Biodiversity Areas in Vhembe. However, permission is required for the Key Biodiversity layer to be released.
