2022 Community Perceptions of Flood Mitigation Survey
收藏资源简介:
The 2022 Community Perceptions of Flood Mitigation Survey is a random telephone survey of Harris County (Houston), Texas area adults over the age of 18. The main goal of the survey is to understand how residents of a flood prone city understand their risk of natural disaster, as well as how their community and individual-level circumstances contribute to those feelings of perceived risk. We also asked a series of questions on flood mitigation strategies and efforts being made within the Houston Area to curb the effects of flooding. The survey was conducted throughout March-April of 2022 though a combination of random digit cellphone dials, random digit landline dials, and listed cell phone dials for a total N of 700 respondents. Survey documentation including questionnaires, in both English and Spanish, and a methodological appendix have been made publicly available here. For use of the de-identified version of the survey, please contact the PI, Kathryn Freeman Anderson, at kateanderson@uh.edu to request the survey data file.<br>
